Peggy G. Moore

JACKSON, SC- Mrs. Peggy G. Moore, age 75, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Friday, September 18, 2015.

Mrs. Moore was born in Newberry, SC on July 25, 1940 to the late James and Alma Griffin. She was a resident of Jackson, SC since 1956 and a member of Open Bible Baptist Church. Her passions were her family and taking care of her daughter, Amanda.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her husband, Fleming Moore; a sister, Kay Perrigin; and a step-daughter, Debora M. Hill.

She is survived by four daughters, Penny L. Franklin (Robert), Jackson, SC, Tammy L. McKenzie, New Ellenton, SC, Amanda M. Moore (Timmy), Jackson, SC, and Kelly A. Moore (Luke), Jackson, SC; two sons, Rusty E. McKenzie, New Ellenton and Danny J. McKenzie (Diane), Jackson, SC; three step-daughters, Elaine Gorham, Pamela Allen, and Scarlet Batson; a granddaughter, Barbara H. Knowles (Joey), Belvedere, SC; three great-grandchildren, Jordan E. Knowles, Keegan L. Moore, and Cash E Moore; and two sisters, Barbara Ussery and Faye Stringfellow.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Open Bible Baptist Church, Beech Island, SC with Preacher Dan Hill officiating. Interment will follow in Jackson Memorial Park.
