Phillip Dwight Morris

Funeral services for Mr. Phillip ?Whitey? Dwight Morris, Jr. will be held Saturday, September 9, 2006 at 4pm at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Brancie Stephens and Rev. Leo Wood officiating. Interment will follow in the Morris Family cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6-8pm at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Avenue, SW, Aiken. Memorial contributions may be directed to Bethel Baptist Church, 1127 Bethel Church Road, Aiken, SC, 29801.

Mr. Morris, 36, of Aiken, died Wednesday, September 6, 2006 at his residence.

Mr. Morris was born in Augusta, GA to Elva Randall and the late Phillip D. Morris, Sr.

Dwight was a lifelong resident of Aiken, a self employed vinyl siding subcontractor and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He was a loving and caring person. He also loved animals, especially his goat Elva.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Morris is survived by his stepfather, Alvie Randall, Aiken, fiancé, Joy Henderson; sister, Stephanie Morris, Aiken; brother, Tommy Morris, Aiken; nephews, Ryan Morris, Alex Timmerman, several aunts and uncles in Aiken and Lexington County, and numerous cousins.
