Ravenal Quattlebaum Bell

Mrs. Ravenal Quattlebaum Bell, 82, died Tuesday, February 4, 2003 at University Hospital, Augusta, GA. Funeral Services will be held 3:30PM Friday, February 7, at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel with Rev. Jack Hasty officiating. Pallbearers will be Gary M. Bell, James R. Bell, Jr., Kenneth G. Fisher, Eric Proctor, Todd Proctor, David R. Quattlebaum, Kenneth Luke Fisher and Justin Robert Bell. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Bell South Pioneer Life Member Organization. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:30-8:30PM at the funeral home.

Mrs. Bell was the daughter of the late Joseph Brooks and Ruby Lerleen Quattlebaum, and a native of Saluda, SC; but lived most of her life in Aiken. She retired from Southern Bell Telephone Company after 42 years of dedicated service. She was a member of Aiken?s First Baptist Church and a member of Bell South Pioneer Life Member Organization.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, James Robert and Diane D. Bell, Sr., brothers and sister-in-laws; J.C. and Ramona Quattlebaum, Floral City, FL, Ronnie and Jeannie Quattlebaum, Aiken, SC, sister-in-law, Vera Quattlebaum, NM, grandchildren, James Robert and DiAnn Bell, Jr., Aiken, SC, Gary M. and Karen Bell, Aiken, SC, Donna B. and Kenneth G. Fisher, Aiken, SC, seven great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
