Raymond A. Ferris

Funeral Services for Mr. Raymond A. Ferris will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery in Salem, MA. George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave. SW is assisting the family. Mr. Ferris, 91, of Aiken, died Thursday, May 4, 2006 at Pepperhill Nursing Center. Born in Beverly, MA, he was the son of the late Frank C. and Mary M. Hunt Ferris. He was retired as a parts manager at the former Whitten Buick dealership in Beverly, MA. He also played drums and sang with the Dick Hingston Big Band during the Swing Era of the 1940?s.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Angeline Jenicks Ferris, who died in 1991.

Mr. Ferris is survived by his son, Kenneth A Ferris and his wife Annette, Aiken and two grandchildren, Kenneth P. Ferris, San Antonio, TX and Kimberly A. Ferris, Birmingham, MI.
