Raymond Paul Sabol

Mr. Raymond Paul Sabol, 86, of Aiken, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2015. Funeral services will be held in Pennsylvania under the care of William S. Skovranko Memorial Home. Local arrangements are under the care of GEORGE FUNERAL HOME.

Born in Duquesne, PA, he was a son of the late Michael and Mary Koresko Sabol. Mr. Sabol was a communicant of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, where he was a Faithful Navigator in Assembly 1074 and was a Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, #3684. He was married to Helen Yarosik Sabol for 63 years. Mr. Sabol retired from Westinghouse/SRS after 40 years. After retirement, Mr. Sabol worked at George Funeral Home. He was preceded in death by his brother, Lawrence Sabol.

Survivors include his loving wife, Mrs. Helen Sabol of Aiken; sons, Regis Sabol (Gail) of N. Huntingdon, PA and Richard Sabol (Pennie) of Martinez; a daughter, Donna Bate (Gary) of Grovetown; 7 grandchildren, Lisa Winwood (Kevin) of N. Huntingdon, PA, Ryan Sabol of Boulder, Colorado, Allison Hardy (Sam) of Augusta, Keith Bate (Caitlin) of Atlanta, Roman Sabol of Valdosta, GA, Russell Sabol and Megan Sabol, both of Martinez; one great-granddaughter, Jasie Winwood of N. Huntingdon, PA; a sister, Marian Beaudon (Ben) of N. Huntingdon, PA.
