Regina Hettle Hentges, 71 of Summerville, widow of James John Hentges, died Sunday, March 2, 2003 at Summerville Medical Center, Summerville, SC.
There will be a visitation today at George Funeral Homes Historic Downtown Chapel 211 Park Ave. SW Aiken from 1:30-2:30pm. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. at Calvary Cemetery, Aiken.
Mrs. Hentges was born in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of Walter C. Hettle and Mary Fogel Hettle. She attended Diocese of Toledo Schools. Mrs. Hentges was a member of the Aiken Garden Club, and she was a volunteer for Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Mrs. Hentges was a homemaker and communicant of St. John's the Beloved Catholic Church, Summerville, SC. She was a former communicant of St. Mary Help of Christians Church, Aiken.
In addition to her parents, she is pre-deceased by her husband, James J. Hentges, who died in 1990. Survivors include two sons, James J. Hentges of Chevy Chase, Md. and Thomas J. Hentges of Charleston; a daughter, Marilyn S. Brady of Summerville; five grandchildren and a brother Martin C. Hettle of Grand Island, Neb., and two sisters Joan Olnhausen and Noreen Begell, both of Toledo.
