Robert Matthew Ellis

George Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Aiken, SC announces the death and home going celebration services of Robert "Bobby" Matthew Ellis, 56, husband to Mary Chandler Ellis, entered into rest Friday, April 28, 2023, at his residence.

A native of Council Grove, Kansas, Bobby lived in Georgia and was a resident of New Ellenton, SC upon his death. He was a son to the late Edgar and Roberta Ellis. He loved making music, cooking, and especially loved his furry companions. He enjoyed being around people and was the life of the party. He was always smiling and loved by many.

Mr. Ellis was preceded in death by his parents, and is survived by the love of his life, his wife of almost 28 years, Mary Ellis; son, Keith Ray; stepchildren, Kimberly Dilworth, William “Billy” Williams; Amy Moore, Anna Adams; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends.

A private home-going service for the family honoring Mr. Ellis will be provided at a later date.

The family asks that any memorials or contributions for Bobby be made to the funeral home.
