Robert Bob'' Foster Meekins

Robert ? Bob? F. Meekins, 66, of Aiken, husband of Ellen Meekins, died Tuesday, August 20, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A memorial mass will be held 7pm, Thursday, August 22 at George Funeral Homes, Southside Chapel, 3175 Whiskey Rd., Aiken, SC with Father Gade Show Reddy as celebrant. The family will receive friends following the memorial service. Mr. Meekins was born in Poughkeepsie, NY to the late Carl Foster and Mildred Rebecca Meekins. He was a communicant of St. Mary?s Help of Christians Catholic Church, Aiken and served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. Survivors include his wife, son; Michael Jones, Newburgh, NY, and brother John Meekins, Seattle, WA. The family wishes that memorial contributions be made to Aiken Area Council on Aging, 159 Morgan St. NW, Aiken, SC 29801.
