Robert William Slater

Mr. Robert William Slater, 70, husband of Julieta Slater for 21 years, died Tuesday, November 4, 2003 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A memorial gathering will be held tonight, November 8, 2003 at the residence on 609 Forest Circle, New Ellenton, SC.

Mr. Slater was born in St. Petersburg, FL and has lived in New Ellenton for 15 years. Mr. Slater served his country in the US Navy, and worked as an Electric Engineer at SRS. He attended St. Paul United Methodist Church, New Ellenton and St. Mary?s Help of Christian Catholic Church, Aiken. He was a member of the Bee Keepers of Aiken County, Senior Member of the Civil Air Patrol Aiken Squad, and an Avid Sailor.

Survivors include his wife, son, William Anthony Slater, Charleston, SC, daughter, Marisol Louise Slater, New Ellenton, and three brothers, Richard Slater, West Palm Beach, FL, James Adams, St. Petersburg, Fl, and Walter Slater, Bayville, NY.
