Rona Jean Boone

AIKEN, SC – Rona Jean Boone, age 64, entered into rest Saturday, March 27, 2021, at Augusta University Hospital.

Mrs. Boone was born October 6, 1956 in Columbia, SC to the late Robert and Elizabeth Phillips. She was a resident of the area for the past thirty years. She was a hospice CNA by trade. Mrs. Boone loved her family, grandchildren, her church, and her beloved dogs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Keith Phillips.

Survivors include a daughter, Elisa Fuentes (Jose), Aiken, SC; three sons, Ronn Couch (Blanca), Beech Island, SC, Kevin Keathley (Leighann), Pikeville, KY, and Brandon Keathley, Augusta, GA; fifteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Robert Phillips.

The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 p.m. April 1st, 2021 at Mercy Church with the funeral service following at 3:00 p.m. at the church. Pastor Kenny Murphy will officiate. Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery.
