Rose L. Proietti

A Requiem Mass for Rose Lee Proietti will be celebrated at 1 pm on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at the Old St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Park Ave. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery under the care of GEORGE FUNERAL HOME.

Mrs. Proietti, 94, of Aiken, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2015. Born in Knoxville, TN, she was a daughter of the late Sam and Mary Hillard. Mrs. Proietti has lived in Aiken since 1973. She was a communicant of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church. Mrs. Proietti was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 3684 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing bridge and was a member of the Aiken's Bridge Club. Mrs. Proietti was preceded in death by a son, Joseph M. Proietti and 9 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph M. Proietti of Aiken, daughters, Suzanne Browder and Elizabeth Thomas (Tom) all of Aiken; a son, Richard Proietti (Nancy) of Charlotte; 2 grandchildren, Kristen Morris (Ley) of Columbia and Emily Poole (Ashley) of Graniteville and 2 great-grandchildren, Chase and Peyton Poole of Graniteville.
