Rosemary Burke Kock

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Rosemary Burke Kock will be celebrated Saturday, December 17, 2005 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Aiken, SC. Interment will be private.

Mrs. Kock, of Aiken, SC, passed away in the early morning of December 9, 2005 in Aiken.

Born on May 27, 1931, Mrs. Kock was the daughter of Paul and Rosemary Burke of Morristown, NJ. She graduated from the Academy of St. Elizabeth in Convent Station, NJ. She married James A. Finn, Jr. of Southport, CT in 1949.

She had her family lived overseas for twenty-four years, in Egypt, India, Pakistan, and Kenya. Her first marriage ended in divorce. In 1978 she married R. Logan Kock of Greenwich, CT. They were residents of Greenwich for twenty-three years and moved to Aiken, SC in January 2001. Her second husband who passed away in July 2001 predeceased Mrs. Kock.

Her four children survive her, James A. Finn, III, Paul B. Finn, Patricia M. Landback, and Matthew L. Finn; her three stepchildren, R. Logan Kock, Charles Lachelier, and Susan Fry, and ten grandchildren.
