Ruby Bunny'' Aiken

Funeral services for Mrs. Bunny Aiken will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2002 at 3:30 PM from the graveside in Aiken Memorial Gardens, Aiken, SC, with Rev. M. Eugene Mullikin officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 3, 2002 from 1:00-3:00 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Aiken, 79, of Aiken, SC, wife of the late Charles F. Aiken died, Saturday, afternoon, November 23, 2002 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers, Aiken, SC.

Born in Durham, NC, a daughter of the late Hartford Richardson and the late Mae Mclean Richardson, she had lived in Aiken, SC, since 1952. Bunny was a retired Bookkeeper and had formerly been very involved in the Aiken community and enjoyed volunteering many years for A.C.T.S. and also being a Pink Lady at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

A son, Michael W. Aiken, Aiken, SC; grandchildren, Miah Lee Aiken, Andress Aiken, Kris Aiken, Spencer Aiken, and Erin Aiken and a great-grandson, Eli Aiken, survive. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Jeanne Aiken, in 1999.

The family has requested that memorials in memory of Bunny be made to the S.P.C.A., 401 Wire Rd., Aiken, SC 29801.
