Sabra Gordon Lowe

Funeral services for Mrs. Sabra Gordon Lowe will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2005 at 2:00pm at Chimebell Baptist Church with Pastor Gary Fleetwood officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be tonight, from 6-8pm at George Funeral Homes Southside Chapel 3175 Whiskey Rd., Aiken. Memorial donations may be directed to Chimebell Baptist Church 1013 Chimebell Church Rd. Aiken, SC 29803.

Mrs. Lowe, 86, of Aiken, died Sunday, November 6, 2005 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

A daughter of the late Sam and Sally Boyd Gordon, she was a lifelong resident of Aiken County. She was a homemaker and a member of Chimebell Baptist Church. Mrs. Lowe was the loving wife of the late Ernest M. Lowe, who died in 2002. She is also predeceased by two brothers; Randolph and James Gordon and two sisters; Bessie Beard and Sarah Moyer.

She is survived by a daughter, Doris Gilmore, Crest Hill, IL, two sons; Donald Lowe, Charleston, SC and Daniel Lowe, New Ellenton, and a sister; Dorothy Widener, Aiken. Mrs. Lowe is also survived by six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
