Shannon Lee Busbee

MANNING, SC: Mr. Shannon Lee Busbee, 55, of Manning, passed away December 2, 2022.

Born December 23, 1967 in Augusta, GA, he was the son of the late George Luther Busbee and Claudia Barton Busbee.

Shannon was a valued employee of the Sunset Inn in Manning, SC for the past 8 years. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed fishing and deer hunting with this brother-in-law.

In the past few years, he picked up small jobs doing carpentry and reupholstery. He loved riding motorcycles in his spare time; his favorite being Harley Davidson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and older brother, David Busbee.

He will be loving remembered by his baby girl, 2 yr old Shannon Lena Busbee; his sisters, Tressa Busbee and Lee Staley (Vannie); a very special cousin, Gloria Jean Gardner; his very best friend, Gene Fields (Fran); his nieces and nephews, Vannie, III, Miranda, Ga-Mila (George), Amber, Angel, Xavier and Ezekiel; and very special friends and employer, Sam and Savita Patel, who were loved like family.

The family will receive friends Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 5-6PM at The Historic George Funeral Home, 211 Park Ave SW, Aiken, SC 29801.

Funeral Service will follow at 6PM in the chapel with Pastor James Parker officiating.
