Shirley Struthers

AIKEN, SC- Mrs. Shirley Struthers, age 90, passed away Monday, November 9, 2015 at her residence.

Mrs. Struthers was born July 20, 1925 in Rutland, Vermont to the late Robert and Ethel H. Ross. Prior to making Aiken, SC her home in 1981 she was a resident of Huntington, VT. Mrs. Struthers retired as a registered nurse and attended Millbrook Baptist Church. She enjoyed pen pals, reading, walking, and taking care of her cats.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Struthers was preceded in death by her husband of forty-four years, Henry Wallace Struthers in 2010.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

A crypt side service will be held November 20, 2015 at 11 AM in the Aiken Memorial Garden Mausoleum. The Reverend Bill Howard will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Aiken SPCA, 199 Willow Run Rd., Aiken, SC 29801.
