Sophie Victoria Rados

Mrs. Sophie Victoria Rados, 95, widow of the late Henry Rados, passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, October 31, 2023, at the Benton House of Aiken following an extended illness.

Mrs. Rados was born on April 30, 1928, in Chicago, IL, a daughter of the late Adolph & Karolina Charchut Slenczka. Mrs. Rados was a parishioner of St. Constance Catholic Church in Chicago, IL. She was an avid gardener and loved ballroom dancing with her husband prior to his passing.

Surviving are 2 sons, James L (Aleksandra) Rados of Aiken & Kenneth K. Rados of Florence, AZ; a sister, Lillian of Seattle WA; a brother, Edward Slenczka of Prescott, AZ, grandchildren, Christopher James Rados, Stephanie (Ron) Dreisilker & Nicole Louise Rados; great-grandchildren, George Henry Dreisilker & Evelyn Louise Dreisilker.

Memorial services will be held at a later date in Chicago, IL.
