Stephanie Nicole Fanning

Funeral services for Ms. Stephanie Nicole Fanning will be held Monday, March 1, 2004 at 11 AM at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Ridge Spring, SC, with Pastor Charles Yoho officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 29, 2004 from 6 until 8 PM at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC.

Stephanie, 17, of Aiken, SC, daughter of Joseph ?Joe? and Pamela ?Pam? Sauls Fanning, died Friday, afternoon, February 27, 2004.

Born in Augusta, GA, she had been a lifelong resident of Aiken, SC, where she was a senior at Aiken High School. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and was employed as a waitress at the Huddle House.

In addition to her parents, a brother, Alex Fanning and sister, Melody Fanning, both of the home, maternal grandparents, James C. and Jackie L. Sauls, Aiken, SC; paternal grandparents, Josephine C. Fanning, and the late James Earl Fanning, Aiken, SC; great-grandparents, Clara Contagi, and the late Joseph Contagi, Aiken, SC; Marie Sauls, and the late Jeff Sauls, Bluffton, SC; and Herb and Kay Ellis, Daytona Beach, FL, survive.

The family has asked that memorials in memory of Stephanie be made to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 164 Mt. Pleasant Rd., Ridge Spring, SC 29129
