Susan Lipman

Funeral services for Mrs. Susan Lipman will be held Sunday, May 8, 2005 at 3 PM at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC, with Rabbi Robert G. Klensin officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends following the service at the residence.

Mrs. Lipman, 64, of Aiken, SC, died Thursday, morning, May 5, 2005 at her home.

Born in Manhattan, NY, she was the daughter of the late Max and Claire Brodie Warshaw. For twenty years she lived in Wilmington, NC where she was very active at B?nai Israel Synagogue. Mr. & Mrs. Lipman came to Aiken, SC in 1990 where she retired from Wachovia Bank. She enjoyed stamping, shopping, and cooking for her family.

She is survived by her husband of forty-three years, Stan Lipman, sons and their wives, Howard and Sara Lipman, Pembroke Pines, FL, Mark and Shelli Lipman, Boynton Beach, FL, and Neal and Ericka Lipman, W. Bloomfield, MI; brother and sister-in-law, Dick and Sandy Warshaw, Beverly Hills, CA; mother-in-law, Kitty Zwiren, Glen Ellen, IL; brother-in-law, Michael Lipman, Medinah, IL, her nieces and nephews Mark, Gary and Lisa Warshaw, Brett and Holly Lipman and Tracey and Jeff Hoover; and especially her seven grandchildren, who she absolutely adored.
