Funeral services for Mrs. Talley Duncan will be held Monday September 18, 2006 at 6pm at Town Creek Baptist Church, Aiken, with Rev. Chris Masters and Rev. Jason Willis officiating. A graveside committal service will be Tuesday September 19, 2006 at The Sinking Springs Cemetery in Abington, Virginia.

Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Young, Louis Reda, Chuck Daley, Jerry Woods, and Walt Van Calla. Visitation will be from 6pm until 8pm Sunday, at George Funeral Home and Cremation Center. 211 Park Avenue, SW, Aiken.

Mrs. Duncan, 67 of Aiken, died Thursday night September 14, 2006 at her residence.

A daughter of the late William Hamilton and Louise Ager Davidson, she was born and raised in Sullivan County, Tennessee. Mrs. Duncan graduated Bristol High School in 1957, Augusta College in 1995 and South Eastern University in 1996, earning a Masters Degree in computer information and management. Mrs. Duncan had been employed for the last 18 years at the Savannah River Site, and each tax season at the H&R Tax service. In addition to her parents Mrs. Duncan was predeceased by her husband Basil E. Duncan II, and by her brother William Davidson.

Mrs. Duncan is survived by three children, Daughter Amanda Duncan, Aiken, two sons Basil Ellis Duncan III and his wife Mary Duncan, of Lexington, SC. And Hamilton Earl Christine Duncan, Chapin, SC., one sister Sandy Martin, Hendersonville, NC. Six grandchildren Jessica Anderson, Adriana Duncan, Austin Duncan, Hannah Duncan, Jonas Duncan, Benjamin Duncan.
