Thomas Gregory Smith, Sr.

Thomas Gregory Smith, Sr., 74, beloved husband of Marlene Fears-Smith passed away on Sunday afternoon, January 7, 2024, at his residence following an illness.

Born in Buffalo, New York on March 24, 1949, he was the son of the late Thomas James Smith, Sr. & Lillian Turner Taylor. Mr. Smith was a retired Coach Driver. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Thomas Gregory Smith Jr., of Lackawanna, NY; 2 daughters, Monica Joy Henery of Pompano Beach, FL and Roslyn Foy of Oakland, CA; 4 brothers, George Taylor, Jr., Ricky Smith. Julian Smith & Burt Smith; 4 sisters, Judy Taylor, Barbara Brinson , Edye Jordan & Melissa Tucker; grandchildren, Ainsley Henery Jr., Asia Henery, Tyler Smith, Corey Smith, Jr., Jaden Smith and Treshawn McNeil; great- grandchildren, Aiden Henery, Aubree Henery & Corynn Smith.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his son, Corey Smith, Sr.; a brother, Thomas J. Smith Jr. and 2 sisters Pamela Flippen & Cherie Turner.
