Tommy Daniel

Funeral services for Tommy Grady "Lightning" Daniel, 71, of Aiken, will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday, February 15, 2014 at the chapel of GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private.

Mr. Daniel, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2014. Born in Texas, he was a son of the late Henry and Mary Harris Daniel. He was retired from Owens Corning and in his spare time, he enjoyed camping and fishing. "Lightning" as he was referred to by his friends, was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Joy Daniel, one brother and two sisters.

Surviving are his daughters, Terrie Garvin (Larry Cooley) of Aiken, Vicky Daniel (Ricky Tant) of Monetta, Tammy Abercrombie (Lauren Rhoads) and Kelly Chubbuck all of Aiken; a son, Jerry Daniel (Gwen Piar) of Thomasville, NC; 3 sisters, 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
