Vicky Cobb

March 25, 1956 — May 3, 2025

Victoria (Vicky) Elenora Sperazza Culp Cobb, beloved mother, passed away on May 3, 2025, at the age of 69. A resident of North Augusta, South Carolina, Vicky was born in Brooklyn, New York, on March 25, 1956, to the late Frank Sperazza and Anita Kelly. She was later adopted by the late Sheldon Culp and Meta M. Culp. Vicky was also preceded in death by her brothers Frank Sperazza Jr. and Ralph Sperazza.

Vicky was a dedicated and compassionate nurse who earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and went on to pursue her Master's in the field. She became a registered nurse in 1996 and continued to serve in the medical field until her well-earned retirement. Her commitment to caring for others was a hallmark of her life, and she touched many people with her kindness and expertise.

Before joining the Catholic faith in 2023, Vicky was a devout Southern Baptist. She was an active member and volunteer at the church formerly known as Heights Baptist Church, which has since been renamed. Her devotion to her faith was evident in her consistent service to the church and its community, where she spent countless hours helping others and supporting various outreach programs. In 2023, she embraced the Catholic faith and became a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in North Augusta. She continued to volunteer her time at the church and assist those in need, embodying a life of love, compassion, and service.

Vicky's greatest joy in life came from her family, and she leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Shelean Cobb of Jackson, South Carolina; her sons, Bry (Tiffany) Eugene Cobb of Waynesboro, Georgia, and Austin Logan Cobb of Beech Island, South Carolina; her sister, Francie (Greg) Eye of Rockingham, Virginia; her brothers, Charles Sperazza of Ronkonkoma, New York, and Clarence Shifflett of Harrisonburg, Virginia. She also leaves behind four beloved grandchildren: one grandson in Jackson, South Carolina, and two grandsons and one granddaughter in Waynesboro, Georgia.

A private service will be announced at a later date by the family.

The Historic George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave. SW, Aiken, SC 29801 (803.649.6234), has charge of arrangements.
