Victor J. Wyszynski

April 25, 1933 — December 19, 2015

A Requiem Mass for Victor J. Wyszynski, JR., will be celebrated at 11 AM, Monday, December 28, 2015 at the Old St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 27 from 4-6 PM at the Historic GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC.

Victor "Vic", 82, of Aiken, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2015.

A son of the late Victor and Helen Choromanska Wyszynski, he was born in Trenton, NJ. Mr. Wyszynski was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He retired from KOYO Bearing of Orangeburg, SC, as a Quality Manager.

Vic served with the Air Force in the Korean War from 1951-1955 and was honorably discharged.

He was a Life Member of Cook Athletic Association and Hamilton Elks Lodge #2262, both in Trenton, NJ. A member of the Aiken Lodge #156 A.F.M., Past member of the Scottish Rite of Free Masonry 32 deg., Past President of the Aiken Shrine Club in 1994, Past Director of Aiken Potentate Guard (1982) and Past Potentate of the Jamil Temple in Columbia, in 2008. He was a communicant of St. Mary Help of Christian Catholic Church.

Vic loved golfing with his brothers Ed and Joe along with his friends from NJ and Aiken. He also was a pretty good pool player and a better than average bowler in his younger years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Elizabeth Foster Wyszynski, and a son, Dennis John Wyszynski.

Survivors include his daughters, Debra Sandifer (Lee) of Aiken and Cindi Overcash (Dale) of Montmorenci; sons, Victor J. Wyszynski, III and Jim Wyszynski both of Aiken; sisters, Anna Shufelt (Ken) of Redwood, NY, Mary Lanzino (Ron) of Ridge Spring, SC and Helen Ashley of Brownsmill, NJ; brothers, Joseph Wyszynski of Hamilton, NJ and Edward Wyszynski (Carol) of Hamilton, NJ; grandchildren, Ben Wyszynski, Kyle Wyszynski, Gene Seeby, Drew Sandifer, Shannon Phillips, Jesse Overcash, Victor J. Wyszynski, IV, Kirsten Lawton, Austin Wyszynski, Katelyn Wyszynski, Zack Wyszynski , Emma Wyszynski; 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
