Virginia Burris White

Mrs. Virginia Burris White, 84, of Aiken, passed away Tuesday, February 05, 2013 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers, following a brief illness. Services will be private at Florence Memorial Gardens and are under the care of GEORGE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTER, Aiken.

A daughter of the late Josef Sires and Ethel Johnson Sires, Mrs. White was Born in Charleston and enjoyed cooking, jig saw puzzles and loved her family. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Preston L. Burris and Jerry M. White.

She is survived by daughters, Jan Easton Frank of Pawley's Island, Sandi Baird Jerry of Fuquay Varina, NC and Greta Mills of Aiken; sons, Shirl Burris of Hendersonville, NC and LeGrand Burris Carol of Darlington; 5 brothers, 4 sisters, 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
