Aiken, SC-Mr. William C. ?Bill? Dannenhauer passed away on Friday, April 12, 2002 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

Mr. Dannenhauer was born in Liberty Boro, PA, on January 20, 1906. An avid gardener and baseball fan, Mr. Dannenhauer resided in Glassport, PA, until 1989 when he moved to Aiken. Prior to his retirement in 1973, Mr. Dannenhauer had been employed as an ornamental ironworker at Roy C. Price Iron Works in McKeesport, PA.

Mr. Dannenhauer was the widower of Edith Snyder Dannenhauer. He was the last surviving child of a family of nine born to Gottfried and Caroline Dannenhauer. Brothers and sisters David, Charles, Gottfried, George, Louis, Lizzie, Peggy, and Caroline preceded him in death.

His daughter, Patricia Stokes; his son-in-law, Robert Stokes; two grandsons, Timothy and Matthew; three great-grandchildren, Felicia, Jacob, and Miranda; and numerous nieces and nephews will sadly miss Mr. Dannenhauer.

He was interred at Round Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth Township, PA. The family suggests memorial contributions to The American Heart Association, 1003 Hammond Rd., Aiken, SC 29803.
