William Leroy Toole

Funeral services for Mr. William Leroy Toole will be held Saturday, February 1, 2003 at 2 PM at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC. Interment will follow in the Thankful Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Windsor, SC. The family will receive friends Friday, January 31, 2003 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Toole, 52, of New Ellenton, SC, son of the late Willie Toole, Sr. and Ennie Bell Brown Toole, died suddenly, Saturday, afternoon, January 25, 2003 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

Born in and a lifelong resident of Aiken County, he was a former farm worker. He was of the Baptist faith.

Sisters, Mamie Toole, Brooklyn, NY, Frances Hightower, Aiken, SC, Ella Tyler, Aiken, SC and Dora Toole, Coumbia, SC; and brothers, Willie Toole, Jr., Henry Toole, Abe Toole, and Edward Toole, all of Aiken, SC, survive.

The family has requested that memorials in memory of Leroy be made to the Mental Health Association.
