Willie Mae Aunt Bill'' Steele

Funeral services for Mrs. Willie Mae ?Aunt Bill? Steele will be held Wednesday, April 16, 2003 at 11 AM at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC, with Pastor Booby Grover officiating. Interment will follow in Bethany Cemetery, Aiken, SC. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 15, 2003 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Steele, 91, widow of Webster M. Steele, died Sunday, afternoon, April 13, 2003 at Pepperhill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Aiken, SC.

Born in and a lifelong resident of Aiken County, a daughter of the late William E. and Polly Moyer Steele, she was a housewife and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, Aiken, SC.

A sister, Juanita Sikes, Riverdale, GA; brothers, Willie James ?Junior? Steele, Orangeburg, SC and Lynn Brady Steele, Gloverville, SC; and many nieces and nephews, survive.

The family has requested that memorials in memory of Mrs. Steele be made to the American Lung Association, 1817 Gadsden St., Columbia, SC 29201.
