Yolanda Mckinney Christian

Funeral services for Yolanda M. Christian will be held Saturday at 2pm at Green Pond Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at George Funeral Homes Southside Chapel 3175 Whiskey Rd Aiken on Friday from 6-8pm. Memorial donations should be directed to Helping Hands, 100 John Elliott Lane Aiken, SC 29801. Mrs. Christian, 64, of New Ellenton, died December 31st at her residence. She was born in Altapass, NC and had lived in Jackson, SC before moving to New Ellenton 35 years ago. She was a member of Green Pond Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Mack Christian who died in 1993 and a grand daughter, Gena Christian, who died in 1999. She is survived by a son; James Christian, Fyffe, AL, a daughter; Rhonda Roberts, Aiken. her mother; Mrs. Augusta Biddix McKinney, Jackson, SC, three brothers; Glenn McKinney, New Ellenton, Russell McKinney, Jackson and DeDe McKinney, Jackson, two sisters; Catherine Carroll, Beech Island, Beverly Johnson Cannon, Jackson and four grand daughters
